Mini Respite

Thank you for your prayers! The Lord is gracious and allowed me to map out behaviors and patterns so I can better protect myself and side-step the attempts at personal attacks. From my research it's the best way to protect my kiddos too.

We were all going in different directions this past holiday weekend. I got a room painted, the deck stained and sealed (thanks to MBray), visited with friends at their lake house, and met another friend for coffee! Whew! But last night our little family of three was finally together around the dinner table sharing a meal which we haven't been able to do for quite a while. It was so nice chatting and sharing a meal without distractions or the need to get something done immediately.

CF has never been comfortable at the dinner table. I never have been able to figure out why. What joy to my mommy heart as he was actually his lively, funny, engaging self. I am grateful The Lord allowed me to recognize it. It felt like we were complete.

As I was going about my morning reflecting on the past few days, a sense of peace washed over me as well as strength. The respite from the attacks has allowed me to be renewed and face the future again, all testimony to the power of prayer.  Bless you!
