Blinded

My kiddos are taking direct hits and enduring the ripple effects of unhealthy adults the past couple of weeks. It is crushing their spirits. To understand, heal, and respond/move-on from difficulties, I write as I pray about it so my thoughts can be guided by the Holy Spirit. It's what I do as I seek to guide my kiddos too. I've sat down with pen and paper multiple times, but it is not working this time. I can't describe it much less understand it. There is just so much! It's as if a spot light has been shined directly into my eyes at close range, blinding me. All I can do is wait for the impact to wear off and my sight to be restored. Feeling helpless and frustrated. I guess it's the Lord's way of making me be still and wait.
