Go Chargers!

Saturday mornings have been all about flag football this fall. CF, our motivating, hustling fireball, took to the fields and gave it his all. He did not lack for enthusiasm or energy. And it has been fun to watch.

It ended up to be a great little team. They practiced and played hard ending their year with one loss and one step away from the championship game. Of course, I also have to mention, CF's four touchdowns, three sacks, and I lost count of how many flags.

And the families were so sweet. That was one of the unexpected blessings. As well as the coaches, two former college players who loved the Lord.

CF woke up the day after their play-off games sad and fighting tears. He came to me, needing a hug, sad because his team would not play together again and he wouldn't see his new friends each week. It's so encouraging to me it was not just about the football to him. He valued the relationships.

Give me a coyote howl!
